History/Making of Fabric Event 1/27/18

History/Making of Fabric Presentation

and Short Bolt Sale 1/27/18

Check in at Inspire on Saturday, 1/27/18 at 10am. Mike Flynn of Quilting Treasures Fabric Company will present a 30-minute video/talk about the history of Quilting Treasures (America’s Oldest Fabric Company) and how quilt shop quality fabric is made.  He’ll explain the differences between our fabric and chain store fabrics and talk a bit about the future of fabrics and take questions from the audience.  Registered attendees receive a goodie bag from QT including 4 free QT fat quarters of quality fabric.  The video shows fabric being printed in the factory and goes through all the steps of production of the flat bed printing process which is how quilt shop quality fabric is made and of the roller process which is how chain fabric is made.

There will be 250 “Short Bolts” (between 3-8 yds each on them.) They will be sold by the bolt at $6.99/yd. (no cutting) This is a great event to get background or backing fabric at a great price!

There will be door prizes and refreshments so register today!
